Embossing is a finishing process that creates a raised or recessed effect on paper or board using special dies. Without any ink, pressure alone gives the material three-dimensional depth.
Used on logos, brand names or decorative patterns, it adds both a visual and tactile sense of quality to the pack, and can be combined with hot foil and UV varnish for an even stronger effect.
